Can you Help with 2 hours of your time?
Are you ready to kick off the summer sailing season with a fresh and tidy yacht club? Malahide Yacht Club is organising a special Broadmeadows Pen Clean-up Day, and we need your help! On Saturday, May 27th, from 9:30 am to 11:30 am, we’re inviting all members and volunteers to come together and spruce up our boat storage area.
The Broadmeadows Pen Clean-up Day is a fantastic opportunity to contribute to the maintenance and organisation of our club’s facilities. With just two hours of your time, we can ensure that our pen is clean, organised, and ready to accommodate the upcoming summer program. It’s a small commitment that can make a big difference!
The primary focus of this event will be the cleaning and organising of the boat storage area. We kindly request all participants to bring a broom to help sweep away debris, and any unwanted clutter. Let’s work together to create a clean and welcoming environment for all our members and their boats.
In addition to the cleaning tasks, we are also in need of individuals who have access to petrol lawnmowers or petrol brush cutters. Trimming the grass surrounding the pen is crucial to maintain a neat appearance and ensure a safe and enjoyable space for everyone.
So, whether you’re a sailing enthusiast, a proud member of Malahide Yacht Club, or simply passionate about preserving the beauty of our surroundings, we invite you to join us on May 27th. By participating in the Broadmeadows Pen Clean-up Day, you’ll be actively contributing to the well-being of our club and fostering a sense of community among our members.
Remember, it’s only a few hours on a Saturday morning, but the impact of your efforts will be felt throughout the entire summer season. Together, we can make a difference and create a space that we can all be proud of.
Mark your calendars for Saturday, May 27th, from 9:30 am to 11:30 am, and be sure to bring a broom if you have one. Let’s come together as a community, show our support for Malahide Yacht Club, and make the Broadmeadows Pen shine!
See you there!
